DonTrell Jamar Moore (born September 25 1982) is an ex- American football running back . Moore was last playing with the New Mexico Stars of the Indoor Football League (IFL). Undrafted as a free agent during 2005’s NFL Draft, Moore eventually joined the New York Jets in 2006. Moore played for the college team on the University of New Mexico. Moore was included in the film “Two Days in April” A comprehensive analysis of player preparations to be drafted in the NFL draft. Before his success in college, Moore went to Roswell High School in Roswell, Texas. There, the school was coached by Coach Jack Cisco and won the state championship in the year 2000.

The signing of Moore to the Amarillo Venom in 2010, Moore’s debut was a rout scoring 4 touchdowns while the rushing of 105 yards over 13 carriers. Moore’s finished the Venom career with 22 touchdowns. In 2012, Moore was signed by the new franchise, the New Mexico Stars.

Moore was not selected in the 2006 NFL Draft, but was later released as a non- drafted free-agent with the New York Jets. The Jets waived him on June 9th of

2006. Moore will sign for the Tennessee Titans the following year. In his only regular game in the season, Moore appeared in a preseason match against his team the New England Patriots rushing for 40 yards and nine carries. The game was the sole game Moore was to see in the NFL and was also the final game of his time as an Tennessee Titan. Moore was eventually signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007 however, he was then released in the same year. Moore’s NFL career was comprised of practice and off-season teams, which eventually led Moore to join the Indoor Football League.

Moore joined at the University of New Mexico in 2000. Graduating from the University of New Mexico with a degree in criminology, Moore now works at the Juvenile Detention Centre in Albuquerque as a youth program officer, assisting juvenile delinquents from the age 11-17
