Don Allen “Donnie” Robinson (born on the 8th of June in 1957) was an ex- Major League Baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, California Angels, and the Philadelphia Phillies from 1978 through 1992. He was nicknamed “The Caveman”, Robinson’s record in his career was 109-106, with a the score of 3.79 ERA.

He was in his way to the World Series again in 1989 and won the game 3 in the NLCS against the Chicago Cubs to help the Giants to reach the finals. Robinson had a great time with the Giants From 1987 until 1991, he had a record of 42-33 and had an 3.56 ERA, and started most of his 170 games for the Giants.

Robinson was awarded his Hutch Award in 1984. On April 18 1987, he gave Mike Schmidt his 500th ever home run. In 1990, while pitching for the Giants He lost the first no-hitter ever played at Veteran’s Stadium to the Phillies’ Terry Mulholland, 6-0.
