Donald Narcisse (born February 26 1965) was a former wide receiver of the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League. He played for the college team in the NCAA Division at Texas Southern University. The team signed him to Saskatchewan as an unrestricted free agent on September 1st in 1987.
The year 2003 was the first time Narcisse received a vote into the Saskatchewan Roughriders Plaza of Honour. Three years later , in the year 2006, Narcisse was among 185 players who were nominated for the CFL/TSN 50 Greatest Players list. He wasn’t voted into Top 50. He was on the 135 players on the Honour Roll of those who weren’t on the list. He was admitted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in the year 2010.
As of 2000 Narcisse played as a coach with the San Antonio Matadors of the Spring Football League.

A diminutive player, standing 5’9″ (175 centimeters) and 170lbs (77 kilograms), Narcisse was effective when playing short-yardage games, usually in situations that required the first down. Because he was rarely getting injured and putting in impressive on-field performances Narcisse was able to hold and share several records. He racked up over 1,000 receiving yards in seven seasons from 1989 until 1995, including a record-breaking 1419 yards back in the year 1989. Despite this however, the Roughriders were often a mediocre team that was in either the bottom or middle of standings. He played with Ray Elgaard and Jeff Fairholm who together formed an elite group of receivers, and among the top in the league.
Narcisse was a well-known and respected person because of his warm and positive attitude toward players, fans and the media. His involvement in the community was greatly appreciated throughout his entire career. The most well- known contribution he made is the “Catch For Kids” program in partnership with SaskEnergy in support of Kidsport Saskatchewan which began in 1998. The program has since grown to include a charitable Saskatchewan Roughrider player calendar and a charity bowling event that now raises more than $100,000 each year for Kidsport. In the same year when The Leader Post newspaper ranked him as the No. 7 on their list of the 50 greatest players from the Roughriders. He was the winner of the Grey Cup with the Riders in 1989, and made it to the finals in 1997. After his entire time playing for the Roughriders, Narcisse retired at the end of 1999 season.
