Dominique Ross (born January 12 1972 at Jacksonville, Florida) is an ex- American football player in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He was also a part of the Jacksonville Tomcats in the Arena Football League 2. He played in the NCAA football tournament in Valdosta State University.
On the 11th of March 1997, he officially signed as a “free agent” from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was let go to make way for new running back Warrick Dunn on July 25 after he had ended his holdout on his contract.
In 2002, he signed with the Jacksonville Tomcats of the Arena Football League
- He played there until the team folded in 2003.
In 2016, he was inducted into the Valdosta State Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also named to the Valdosta State team of the decade in the 1990s.
Ross was signed as a non-drafted independent by the Dallas Cowboys after the 1995 NFL Draft on April 25. He was released on August 22 , and then signed to the practice team. On the 21st of December the 21st, he was elevated to the active team for the season’s finale in the game against Arizona Cardinals. Arizona Cardinals, making 2 special-teams tackles. He was player on the Super Bowl XXX winning team. The team was disbanded on the 25th of August 1996, and later renewed.

He was in 1989 when he was offered an athletic scholarship from Florida State University. He was not able to play during the beginning due to not meeting the standards for Proposition 48 and left the school in the year 1990.
