In 2004, he released his self-titled first album DJ Kane which went to number 8 on the Billboard charts with hits including “La Negra Tomasa” and “Mía”, also earning two Latin Grammy nominations for Best Urban Album and Producer of the Year.

In 2007 Jason released his third album as a solo artist titled Capítulo III: Ahogando Penas.
