Dimitar Vasev (Bulgarian: Dimit’r Vasev ; born 10 September , 1965) is Bulgarian former player in football and manager of football who was lastly in charge of Septemvri Sofia.
On June 8, 2017 Vasev was named director of Septemvri Sofia together with Hristo Arangelov, who was the interim manager during Nikolay Mitov’s time as his first assistant. He was dismissed by the team on August 23rd 2017 after a poor performance and resigned from the post to be replaced by Nikolay Mitov.
On the 7th of April, 2014, the team was named manager for the second time. He took over the management of Stefan Genov. He was awarded as the winner by Bulgaria’s Association of Professional Footballers in Bulgaria as the best manager of the season 2014-15. He qualified the team in 3rd position in the A Group, but the team did not obtain the approval and then was disbanded.
