Deon Terry Anderson, born January 27, 1983, is an American football fullback. He played college football at the University of Connecticut. The Dallas Cowboys drafted him in the sixth round, 2007 NFL Draft.

He had his knee inspected on September 17, 2008. The injury caused him to miss two games. He had surgery on his left leg on August 13, 2009. After returning to the field on September 7, he was able to play in all regular season games.

On September 16, 2010, he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery after being diagnosed with a torn meniscus. He was waived injured on September 24 and replaced with undrafted free agent Chris Gronkowski.

Anderson attended Portsmouth Abbey School, before he was expelled from campus for an incident. Anderson transferred to Hope High School, where he was a letterman in three sports. He was a linebacker in football and received All- New England, All-Conference honors. As a junior, he was All-American in wrestling and won the New England and state titles. He was also a skilled track and field athlete, where he trained under Thom Spann, the legendary Hope High School track coach. He also learned to throw the shot put. He transferred to Avon Old Farms Prep in 2001.

He lost his scholarship in 2005 due to poor grades and other issues that he had off-the-field. This forced him to abandon school. After a year of being out of football, he returned to the game in 2006. He was required to pay for all college expenses. To do this, he borrowed money from his aunt. The loan allowed him to live in an abandoned locker room at the campus until he could get his scholarship back. He was primarily used for blocking in the offense as a senior and received team MVP honors. In each of his four years, he led the team in special-teams tackles and missed only one game.

Anderson was signed by the Miami Dolphins on October 19, 2010. He was placed on the injured reserve list with a triceps injury just 12 days after signing his contract. He was waived on March 3, 2011.
