Denise Reddy (born September 14 1970) is a professional soccer coaching coach as well as a former participant. She was most recently as head coach of Sky Blue FC in the National Women’s Soccer League. She has an UEFA Pro License, and previously worked as an assistant coach for Jim Gabarra at the league’s Washington Spirit and as head coach of Linkopings FC and Vittsjo GIK in Sweden, B.93/HIK/Skjold in Denmark as well as Jersey Sky Blue of the USL W-League. She was an active player in the NCAA Division I at Rutgers University and 11 years as a professional player in Sweden.
Following her college days, Reddy joined Swedish side Umea IK in 1995, later moving to Malmo DFF in 1996, where she played for 10 years. In seven of those seasons between 1999 and the year 2005 Reddy played as the captain for the team. In Reddy’s time with the squad, Malmo DFF won the 1997 Swedish Cup, reached the semifinals of the 2003-04 UEFA Women’s Cup, and participated during the Mediterranean International Cup championship. During her time with Malmo DFF, she scored 35 goals in 336 games.
Reddy joined the coaching staff of the Chicago Red Stars of Women’s Professional Soccer in 2008 as an assistant, where she served until 2010.
After the season, she was hired as the head coach of the W-League’s Jersey Sky Blue, where she served until 2008. Jersey Sky Blue was chaired by Thomas Hofstetter, who would go on to form Sky Blue FC in 2009, and Reddy is credited as one of the club’s founders and instrumental in the establishment of the Sky Blue Soccer School.
Reddy was also on her Rutgers female basketball team between 1990 until 1993, which included participation in the 1993 Atlantic 10 Championship. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and communication.

Reddy played four seasons as a member in the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, from 1988 until 1991. In that time they Scarlet Knights won two Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships and Reddy was selected as a member of the NSCAA All-America second team in 1991.
