When she was in 1990, she was accepted to The Sydney College of Fine Arts with the intention of becoming an accomplished artist who was proficient in a variety of subjects. The instructor during that period, who she described as an “fantastic teacher”, was Michael Esson. After graduation she worked at CoFA between 1994 and 1996.
