Dawn Suzanne Gandy (born 28 July 1965) is an English former athlete who was primarily in the 800 meters. She competed for England in the 1994 Commonwealth Games and won four AAA Indoor Championships titles. She also placed second in the 1989 UK Championships and 1994 AAA Championships. Her personal best for 800m at 2:01.87 was recorded in June 1988. She is the twin sister of Simone Laidlow, is also an ex-international athlete.

The year 1994 was the time Gandy was second in the race behind Diane Modahl at the AAA Championships in 2:03.75 and was selected to at the Commonwealth Games, where she was eliminated from the heats at 2:06.52.

Gandy was able to run 2:03.98 and finished second in front of Ann Williams at the 1989 UK Championships. She took home the AAA Indoor 800m title for the second time. She was able to make it to the semifinals in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow in Scotland, where she ran 2:05.44. She again won the AAA Indoor 800m title in 1992, and went on to finish fifth at the 1992 AAA Championships/Olympic trials.
