Leigh is a native of Oslo and was a player for Ellingsrud before joining Skeid First Division side Skeid in 2003. He was invited for an audition with Rosenborg in January 2005 but he declined their invitation as he was invited to join the team of Norway U19. In the following years, after playing with Skeid for five seasons, Leigh was signed by the Tippeligaen team Valerenga alongside co-player Mostafa Abdellaoue in September of 2008. Both players were free agents, and joined Valerenga in January of 2009. Leigh was first introduced for Tippeligaen with Rosenborg on the 15th of March in 2009. On his debut match at Ullevaal Stadion Leigh assisted Bengt Saeternes’ goal in the 1-1 draw against Aalesund.

Leigh signed a contract for the 2015 season with the First Division side Kristiansund in March 2015.

Despite being for the Second Division with Skeid the previous season, Leigh instantly became a regular in Valerenga’s starting lineup and was a regular in the first 10 games of the season and played 21 games scoring just one goal for the club in 2009. Leigh had a difficult second season with Valerenga and played just the 152 minutes of Tippeligaen. After another season of little playing time, he decided to join a loan deal with Odd Grenland in August 2011 However, he remained with Valerenga for another year. He also played in 12 games for the club before when he left in August 2012. Leigh played the 57 games, scoring just one goal with Valerenga during Tippeligaen.
