David Pirri is one of the most popular and richest Spanish footballer who was born on February 12, 1974 in Sabadell, Spain. David Almazan Abril (born 12 February 1974) was popularly is also known by the name of David Pirri or simply Pirri is a Spanish retired footballer who was midfielder and manager.
In the off-season of 2000, Pirri moved on loan to CD Numancia in the top class, playing regularly but being dropped. In the year following the club was under the control of Deportivo Pirri joined Sporting de Gijon.
In August 2006, after a failed trial at Gimnàstic de Tarragona, Pirri moved to Mérida UD from Segunda División B. He signed with fellow league team CE Sabadell FC the following year, and retired with the club in 2008 aged 33.
After his retirement, Pirri was appointed manager of his last club Sabadell’s youth setup. On 27 November 2009, after Ramón Moya’s dismissal at the helm of the first team, he was named his successor.
At the end of August, 1999 following switching between the two principal levels Pirri was signed by Deportivo de La Coruna and was immediately transferred for UD Las Palmas. He was not in full force because of a knee injury, while Pirri’s team return to top of the line after a twelve-year absence.

The birthplace of Pirri is Sabadell, Barcelona, Catalonia, Pirri joined FC Barcelona’s youth squad in 1988 at the age of 14. After a brief period with the C-team, he was elevated to the reserve team in Segunda Division, and made his debut for the team on February 6, 1993. He was an auxiliary in a 6-1 win over Palamos CF.
Pirri was the first player to score a goal for the club on October 16, 1994, scoring the first goal in a 2-1 win away over CD Leganes. In the summer of 1995, Pirri joined La Liga club CP Merida which was his initial appearance at the competition on the 24th of September 1995, playing all 90 minutes in an 0-1 loss against SD Compostela.
In July 2002, Pirri agreed to a two-year contract with second division side Real Zaragoza. He left in 2005 after appearing in only two matches during the campaign, and joined Albacete Balompié.
