David Mouradian is a graduate of the Yerevan State University, the Faculty of Philology. His novel writing was first published beginning in 1969 by the journal of children pioneers. In 1999, and in 2000, he was the vice-president of the studio Hayfilm. It is responsible for various tasks. Between 1994 and 2001 in 2001-2008, he was vice-president of the Writers Association of Armenia. In 2008 and 2010 he was Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture before resigning. Over the years dedicatedly in managing television, he created screenplays and short film scripts. Presently, he is a an instructor in the Institute of Theatre and Cinema in Yerevan. He is the president of the National Academy of Armenia film as well as an associate participant in the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
