In Marble Falls in Texas, Morgan attended Marble Falls High School. A player of soccer and basketball throughout his existence, Morgan started his football career as quarterback. From the 8th grade onwards the following year, he became wide receiver and guide his team to their first appearance in the playoffs. Morgan declined to accept all the credit, stating in the press announcement: “This is an outstanding honor, one that would not have been possible without my coaches and teammates. To become the first All-American in UTSA history is something that is very humbling.”
