In 2004 Lozeau moved towards the western coasts from the United States. In the United States, he saw the pinstriping technique at a hot rod show located in Anaheim, California. He was convinced that the enamel used in pinstriping and sign painting due to its speedy drying process and glossy finish could be the perfect medium to refine the lines of his work and create his distinctive style. He began professional painting using gouache, acrylics, and enamel based on oil. Between 2008 and 2009, his work was showcased in a variety of Kustom Kulture magazines, including Tiki Magazine, Pinstriping and Kustom Graphics, as well as Jesse James’ now defunct Garage Magazine.

Over the course of several many years Lozeau painted on the spot at various occasions, including festival and art shows. His method was to create a new painting using enamel over acrylics. To counteract the strong glossy appearance of the enamels, and gain superior performance than what was provided by acrylics Lozeau switched to gouache to finish his underpaintings due to its speedy drying time, opaqueness, and flexibility. The switch to gouache enabled him to broaden his palette of colors and also allowed him to control the transparency levels in his artwork. After playing around with these different media for a few years, the artist eventually created a mixed- media process that involves mixing gouache, acrylics and oil-based enamel to create works with a tight lines. In the year 2010, Lozeau began building his own wooden frames, custom-made to his specifications and embellishing them with worn leather, rusty metal or hand-woven accents to enhance his concept for each individual painting.
