David William Royce Cass (born 27 March 1962 in Forest Gate, London) is a famous English Former footballer that was goalkeeper, and most notably with Leyton Orient.
In 1988, following an unsuccessful test in the club of Colchester United, Cass returned to football in non-league with Billericay.
As carpenter and playing the non-league game in the club of Billericay Town, Cass was hired by Orient as a cover for the first-choice goalkeeper Peter Wells in March 1987. In the next period, Wells broke his leg and Cass was brought up to take his place. He played in seven games for Orient prior to the close of the 1986-87 campaign and maintained a clean sheet during the 3-0 win over Cambridge United, though Orient barely missed out on playing in the Fourth Division promotion play-offs.
