David Gabe Pilipovich (born January 28th 1964) is a well-known American professional basketball instructor at the college level. He was, most recently, as the coach in charge of the Air Force Academy Falcons men’s basketball team from 2012 until 2020.

For the season 2012-13, Pilipovich was the team’s leader. The Falcons with the fourth most wins in a single season of the history of the program. They also participated at the CollegeInsider.com Tournament and achieved the first postseason road win in school history , with an 69-65 win over Hawai’i. Pilipovich was also an the only AFA Head Coach to defeat two ranked teams during the same season and has three of the team’s four wins over ranked opponents and a 89-88 victory against the 12th ranked New Mexico.

Pilipovich was a coach from the beginning as an assistant coach for California University (Pa.) before being appointed an assistant coach at the age of 1988.
