Steven Darcel McBath (born October 28th in 1985) is an American football coach and former safety. He was drafted by Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played for the Texas Tech University in Texas Tech.

McBath was a part of 13 games in his rookie season, collecting 26 tackles (22 by himself and four assisted). In Week 2, in the game against Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns, McBath intercepted quarterback Brady Quinn for his first career interception. McBath’s next interception wouldn’t occur until Week 14, when he faced quarterback Indianapolis Colts quarterback at the time, Peyton Manning. McBath was to break his forearm a couple of plays later, and would eventually be placed in the reserve for injury the remainder time. On September 4, 2011, McBath was waived by Denver.

McBath was signed by the San Francisco 49ers on July 23, 2012 to a one-year deal.

McBath re-signed with the 49ers to another one-year contract. On August 22, 2013, the 49ers placed McBath on injured reserve due to a foot injury he suffered in the second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

McBath had been signed by Jacksonville Jaguars on December 12 in 2011 and was released on April 23, 2012.
