On September 8, 2017, Lasco was waived by the Saints and was then re-signed to the practice team. Lasco was elevated onto the roster active on the 17th of October on the 17th of October. The following week, Lasco was taken off the field by an ambulance due to a spine injury sustained after he made the headfirst contact on an off-field kickoff. The team diagnosed him with an inflamed disc in his spine. He was placed in injured reserve the 14th of November in 2017.
On March 6, 2019, Lasco was released by the Saints.

After redshirting his freshman academic year in California in 2011 Lasco participated in every game in his redshirt junior year 2012. He racked up 109 rushing yards in 8 carries and one touchdown. In 2013, as a sophomore Lasco was a part of eight games, and had 317 carries and 67 carries, and two scores. In 2014, as a junior Lasco played in 11 of 12 games , and ran for 1,115 yards on the ground on 210 carries, scoring 12 touchdowns. In his nine games of his senior season during 2015 Lasco was able to rush for 331 yards, based on 65 carries, and scored three touchdowns.
The 2016, NFL Draft, Lasco was chosen for the New Orleans Saints. On May 9, 2016 they Saints have signed Lasco for a 4-year agreement.
On July 18, 2018, Lasco was waived by the Saints with a failed physical and was placed on the reserve/PUP List.
