Daniel Vaughn “Dan” Persa (born on 20th November 1988) is an ex- American college football player that played with the Northwestern Wildcats. He was a student at Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Northwestern launched a campaign for Persa to win the Heisman Trophy prior to the 2011 season. They promoted”Persa Strong” as a slogan “Persa Strong” on billboards in Bristol, Connecticut, and Chicago. Bruce Feldman of ESPN.com had declared Persa the best quarterback in the nation. Persa bench pressed 365 lbs (166 kg) and squatted 520 pounds (240 kg) and washed his hang the weight of 315 pounds (143 kg).
