Ieuan manages the label based in Cardiff as well as the recording studio Strangetown Records with brother Cian Ciaran and Mick Hilton. Alongside Ciaran the pair were named by BAFTA Wales 2011 for the best Original music to The S4C Drama Pen Talar filmed by Fiction Factory.
Ieuan has released The Golden Mile together with The Peth (“The Thing” in Welsh) in 2008, featuring Welsh actor Rhys Ifans on vocals. The second album called Crystal Peth was recorded, but is not yet released. With rapper and DJ Rashid “Wibidi” Omar, the duo recorded and produced music under the name Wibidi. The year 2013 saw him record music with The Earth (band), along with guitarist Mark Roberts (formerly of Catatonia) and guitarist Mark Roberts, bassist Tristan Marley and vocalist Dionne Bennett.

Ieuan was part of Gruff Rhys during their early group Ffa Coffi Pawb. He was drummer for Welsh group Catatonia from 1993 until 1996. He recorded on their first singles and their debut album Way Beyond Blue released in 1996. In the same time, Super Furry Animals formed and Ieuan quit Catatonia to concentrate on Super Furry Animals.
in 2006 Ieuan was a drummer on the James Dean Bradfield’s debut solo album The Great Western Ieuan produced and also drummed on tracks from the album’s debut album due out from Gulp (band) along with Super Furry Animals bandmate Guto Pryce.
