On May 15th, 2014, Williams was signed by League Two club Luton Town for a professional contract of two years following the his manager John Still had been tracking his performance at Lowestoft. Williams first made his Luton debut with a 1-0 victory at home against Cheltenham Town on 13 September 2014. He made his second consecutive appearance in a draw against York City on 16 September 2014, before making another appearance in a 1-0 home win against Cambridge United on 20 September 2014. The game ended in a draw, however, Williams suffered an injury after just 27 minutes, and was substituted with Andy Drury. After that, he continued to battle with injuries throughout the campaign, but was unable to appear in any more games and was put on the transfer list in May of 2015.

Despite being placed on the transfer list, Williams remained with Luton for the entirety of the 2015–16 season, failing to make a single appearance and was an unused substitute on five occasions.

Williams signed a one-year contract with newly relegated National League club Dagenham & Redbridge on 6 June 2016, with the option of a further year. He debuted on the opening day of 2016–17 in a 3–0 win at home to Southport. After starting the first five matches of the season, Williams sustained a knee injury that would rule him out until March. He made his return to the team in the starting lineup at home to York City on 25 March 2017, which resulted in a 1–0 win. Williams started in the second leg of the play-off semi-final defeat to Forest Green Rovers, losing 3–1 on aggregate, and finished the season with 11 appearances. He was released by Dagenham & Redbridge when his contract expired at the end of 2016–17.

The year 2012 saw Williams became a member of Isthmian League Premier Division club Lowestoft Town and signed an agreement in January 2013 until the conclusion this season. Williams made his debut for Lowestoft Town in the 3-2 home win against Enfield Town on 1 December 2012. Williams was injured in the hamstring in the warm-up prior to the team’s 1-0 win away against Kingstonian on March 25, 2013. He missed four games, before returning to the starting line-up for the 2-0 win away against Canvey Island on the 6th of April 2013. He made 23 matches in the league, scoring twice in a home victory of 4-1 against Cray Wanderers on 9 April 2013. Williams helped Lowestoft get to the second spot on the table of league standings, being eligible to participate in the Isthmian League Premier Division play-offs following a 1-0 victory at home against Hendon on April 27, 2013. Williams participated in the semi-final of play-offs, when Lowestoft was able to secure a 1-0 victory against East Thurrock United on 1 May 2013 to make it into the final of play-offs. Williams as well as his Lowestoft teammates were defeated 2-1 by Concord Rangers on 6 May 2013 that resulted in the team being defeated in three play-off finals.

The birthplace of Williams was Ipswich, Suffolk, Williams was a member of the Ipswich Town, the local team Ipswich Town at the age of 10 years old. He was later promoted to Captain of Ipswich Town’s U18 team but was discharged from the club during the summer of 2008 and was not given a contract as a professional. Williams joined the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain and then returned to England to join Conference North club Stafford Rangers and assist them in moving into the top tier of the chart. In February of 2010 Williams came back home to Spain in order to join Jerez Industrial as part of his growth.

He helped Lowestoft to keep 17 clean sheets in the games he was involved in, as the club once again qualified for the Isthmian League Premier Division play-offs after a 3–0 home win over Harrow Borough on 26 April 2014. However, Williams suffered a setback during the game as he clattered into the advertising boards, injuring his shoulder and had to be replaced. As a result of the injury, he missed the 2–1 play-off semi-final win over Bognor Regis Town on 30 April 2014. Williams also missed the 3–0 play-off final win over A.F.C. Hornchurch on 5 May 2014, as Lowestoft were finally promoted to the Conference North after three successive play-off final defeats.
