He was instrumental in helping the Bucks to win their 1971, 1972 and 1973-73 NBA Midwest Division titles, as well as the 1973-74 NBA Western Conference championship, in addition to helping to help the Phoenix Suns win the 1975-76 NBA Western Conference championship. At the time of the 1996 Finals, Perry was a crucial participant during “the greatest game ever played” in NBA history.
Perry was chosen from the San Diego Rockets in the third round of the NBA draft, and also in the draft of Virginia Squires in the 1970 ABA Draft.
