Cristiane was the top goal scorer during the 2006 Sudamericano Femenino with 12 goals despite the fact that Brazil played with a weak team. Cristiane began her career with the local club Sao Bernardo (in Sao Bernardo do Campo) and Clube Atletico Juventus (in Sao Paulo). At 15 years old she was a debutant with Brazil’s Brazil Under-19 team.
