Cody Joe Ponce (born April 25 1994) is an American professional baseball player in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. He played in the NCAA baseball tournament for his team, the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

Ponce was part of Ponce’s United States national baseball team in the 2019 WBSC Premier 12 tournament. The tournament saw him finish 1-1 and had the 2.03 ERA in three starts which lasted 13.1 innings.

The Milwaukee Brewers selected Ponce in the second round of the draft, making the 55th overall selection in the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. Ponce was signed by the Brewers and received an initial signing bonus of $1,108,000 and the entire value of the slot attributable to the selection. Ponce was assigned to the Helena Brewers of the Rookie-level Pioneer League to make his professional debut. They Brewers were then elevated Ponce onto his current club, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Class A Midwest League. He had a 2-1 record and an 2.29 ERA over 14 games (nine starts) between the two teams. Ponce began his 2016 season being placed on the disabled roster with Brevard County Manatees. Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League, and made his debut appearance with Brevard County in June. Ponce was able to record a 2-8 record with an 5.25 ERA in 17 starts for Brevard County. He played in 2017 playing for each of his team, the Carolina Mudcats of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League as well as The Biloxi Shuckers in the class AA Southern League, posted an overall record of 10-9 with an 3.14 ERA over 25 starts. Ponce was in 2018 with Biloxi in Biloxi, where he was 7-6 and an 4.36 ERA in 29 games (11 starts). Ponce came back to Biloxi for the start of the 2019 season.
