Claude Jacques Puel (French pronunciation”klod pYel” born on September 2, 1961) is a French football coach and former player who is the current manager of Saint-Etienne. He spent the entirety of his playing professional career at AS Monaco, before becoming the manager of the club, and leading their team to win the league championship during his first full season as manager. He also has been in charge of Lille, Lyon and Nice in Ligue 1, and Southampton and Leicester City in England’s Premier League.
