Blodgett was an outstanding player on the team of women’s basketball of the University of Maine from 1994 until 1998. Four-time Kodak All-American Blodgett was the only female to ever in NCAA Division I history to dominate the nation’s scoring in four consecutive seasons. She averaged more than 27 per match throughout her sophomore and junior seasons at Maine. Her final score was 3,005 points and broke 20 school records. Blodgett was the one who led Maine to the first four appearances at the NCAA Basketball Tournament in the school’s history.
