Chu Mei-feng (Chinese: Qu Mei Feng Pinyin: Qu Meifeng ; born 5 August 1966) is a Taiwanese journalist on TV, a ex- Taipei City Councillor, and the former director of Hsinchu City’s Bureau of Cultural Affairs.
Chu was fired in 2001 following the issues arising from an sex tape that was released from Scoop Weekly showing her having sexual relations with her husband Tseng Chung-ming, a businessman Tseng Chung-ming. The publication eventually countersued her for the libel.
In June 2005, Chu married a man named Simon who was fourteen years her junior. After they married, they ran a cafeteria together in England.
In 2007, she hosted TV news for Macau Asia Satellite Television.
Chu was the MC at an event for the 1998 Taipei municipal election. To aid to help the New Party candidate, Yang Tai-shun, win the election, Chu recorded a show that covered the news from his campaign for mayor. Chu recorded the news of New Party and Yang Tai-shun at 11:15 p.m. the night before in violation of the Civil Servants Election and Recall Act. The law prohibited any reportage of the rally until 10:15 p.m. on the night.
