Christ Bongo-Zanoni (born 11 August 1976) is a Congolese professional soccer player who was striker. He was a player with SV Wilhelmshaven, Hannover 96, Gazelec Ajaccio, FC Aarau, FC Schaffhausen, FC Solothurn, FC Thun and FC 105 Libreville.
In 2004, after returning back to Africa as a player for Gabonese team FC 105 Libreville, he scored against Cameroon’s Bamboutos FC in the final of the Coupe de l’Uniffac, a event that was played between clubs in Central African countries, but was a loser. Bongo’s goal in the final minute forced the match to extra time however, his team was defeated by an penalty shootout.
Bongo was capped on a global at the international level for Bongo has been capped at international level by the Republic of the Congo national football team. In January 2001, he scored in an World Cup qualifier against Tunisia and was among the three Congolese players to score goals in this qualifying match. The other two were Edson Dico Minga, and Walter Bakouma; in addition an opponent from the Malagasy player scored an own-goal.

Bongo is a native of Kinshasa, Zaire, but has played for Zaire and the Republic of the Congo internationally. The first European team was SV Wilhelmshaven of the Regionalliga Nord Third tier in German football. In the one season he played for the club, he made 26 appearances in the league, scoring six goals. Wilhelmshaven were in a battle to avoid relegation, however Bongo’s goals and the late victory in the final game against SV Lurup, helped the club finish one spot above the zone of relegation. The 1997 season was a close one. Bongo was a part of an additional Regionalliga Nord side, Hannover 96, and signed a three-year contract. The first time he played for Hannover 96, his Hannover debut didn’t come till November. In November, he was involved in a win of 4-0 in the match against Sportfreunde Ricklingen.
He continued to travel throughout France in France and Switzerland as a player with Gazelec Ajaccio as well as FC Aarau, before signing for FC Schaffhausen on a one-year contract in the year 2000. After that, he joined FC Solothurn, where he was the top goal scorer and scored the winning goal during a derby local to the city match against FC Grenchen. It was his final goal for the club prior to going on loan with FC Thun until the winter break.
Bongo signed 2006 in Angola for Sporting Cabinda and retired in 2008.
