Chris Todd is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 22, 1981 in Swansea, Wales. Christopher Richard Todd (born 22 August 1981) is a Welsh retired footballer who was a defender as well as the current manager of Torquay United’s U18s.

Todd was signed by local club Torquay United in June 2007 at a cost of £7,500. He soon became an established player fixture in the newly-relegated Conference National side.

After a successful loan spell at Salisbury, he returned to Torquay for the last month of the 2008–09 season. Todd went straight back into the first team and, during this month, he won the ‘Man of the Match’ award for the Conference National Play-off Final, helping Torquay win the game and promotion to League Two.

With his treatment for his leukaemia going well, Todd returned to training and on 2 February 2009, joined Salisbury City on loan to regain match fitness.

After Glenn Cronin’s departure in the off-season of 2006, Todd was appointed captain of Exeter City for the 2006-07 season.

In Swansea, Todd began his career as a player with the club he grew up with, Swansea City, turning professional in the month of August. His debut came 10 March 2001, at home, in an 1-1 draw against Northampton Town, going on to play 46 times until his release in the month of June of 2002.

It was back in English playing football at Exeter City in January 2003. However, he wasn’t able to stop Exeter being dropped out of the Football League that season, it was a long-term fixture at the club and was a constant regular in the first team.
