Christopher Schultz (born February 16 in 1960) is a former National Football League and Canadian Football League player who played offensive tackle position most often for the CFL Toronto Argonauts. He played in the NCAA football tournament with the University of Arizona. His job was as a broadcaster for the Canadian sports TV channel TSN.
In 2007 the year 2007, he was named in 2007 to the Argonauts All-time team.
After only playing in five games, with no start during his initial two seasons the year 1985 saw Phil Pozderac injured his knee in the game that he was playing in the 3rd game which led to Schultz to take over the left tackle. He would later take over a backup role once Pozderac was back to full strength. He was eventually back in the starting position in the 13th game through finals time, however, he struggled a lot when playing in the playoffs against his team, the Los Angeles Rams. He was released on the 26th, 1986.

Schultz was chosen for the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round (189th overall) of the 1983 NFL Draft. He was also picked from the Arizona Wranglers in the 1983 USFL Territorial Draft. On the 21st of August, 1984, his name was put on the reserve list for injured players. Later on, he was activated the same year and was able to play in five games with special teams. The year 1984 saw him unable to play for the season following an injury to his right knee during an earlier game in the season’s third.
The year 1986 saw Schultz was back in Canada in order to join his team, the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League who held his rights following the selection of during the initial round of 1982’s CFL Draft. He was a part of 124 games played by the Argos throughout his nine-year career. Schultz was recognized as an CFL All-Star twice (1987, 1988) and was a participant at the Grey Cup in 1987 and was a part in the team that won 1991 Grey Cup championship team.
On October 17, 2016, Schultz was part of a healthy class inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, where he spoke on the influence his father had on him.
