Chris Sandow (born 9 January 1989) was a former Indigenous Australian professional rugby league footballer who was an goal-kicking halfback, or five-eighth and could also be played as a fullback.
He was recognized by the Toyota Cup – ‘Team of the Year’ for the halfback who started. He was also awarded the inaugural George Green Medal – ‘Indigenous Rising Star’ for 2008.
In round 13 during the 2008 season, Sandow made his first-grade début against the Warriors in Auckland, New Zealand at Mt. Smart Stadium.
In June 2008, the team’s star halfback Craig Wing, suffered a near season- ending injury. Sandow was named to replace him in the Rabbitohs’ NRL first- grade team.
Sandow was selected in his Indigenous All Stars team, which defeated Maori from New Zealand Maori 34-25 in a curtain-raising match at the Rugby World Cup’s Opening Ceremony in October of 2008.
