Christopher Sean Chester (born January 12th 1983) is an ex- American football player. He played in the NCAA football tournament at Oklahoma and was selected into the Baltimore Ravens in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Additionally, he played with both the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons.
The year 2008 was the time that Chester moved from an offensive line position to the tight end, and he was switched from No. 65 to No. 48. His first NFL game at the new position was with the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 29. Then he switched back on the offensive line No. 65 in October.
In July 2011, Chester signed a five-year contract with the Washington Redskins. He was the only member of the Redskins’ offensive line to start and play in all 16 games of the 2011 season at the same position. On May 27, 2015, Chester was released. During his four-year stint with the Redskins, Chester started all 64 games.
On March 31, 2017, Chester announced his retirement from the NFL.
Chester played in the college game in the University of Oklahoma. The first three seasons in the program, he was tight end with the Sooners however, he switched to offensive lineman during the final year of his career. The Oklahoman graduated from University of Oklahoma with a degree in political science in the year 2006.

Chester was chosen from his team the Baltimore Ravens in the second round (56th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft. In his debut season, he was in 11 games, making four starts. He was a part of the defense for the quarterback. Only 17 sacks were permitted, the second-lowest number of the NFL. His NFL debut with The Denver Broncos on October 9 the 9th of October, 2006.
In 2006, at the NFL Combine he ran the fastest time of offensive linemen at 4.83 seconds.
On May 30, 2015, Chester signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons. He played and started in all 16 games for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2015 season. On April 20, 2016 Chester re-signed with the Falcons.
