Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy is one of the most popular and richest Military Leader who was born on June 1, 1960 in Sandwip Upazila, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The man was born the year 1960 within Sandwip Thana of Chittagong district.

Sarwardy was awarded the gallantry award “Bir Bikrom”, for showing courage during a counter-insurgency mission within the Chittagong Hill Tracts, in which he took over the camp of the enemy after being shot in the head. Bir Bikrom Bengali: biir bikrm , lit. “Valiant Hero” is the third most prestigious gallantry prize in Bangladesh. Hasan was the leader of the rescue mission of Tazreen Garments in Savar during December of 2012. He was in charge of the rescue mission at Rana Plaza in Savar. He was awarded the “Senabahini Padak” (SBP) for his leadership during the rescue mission. Bangladesh broke records for the largest human flag on the 16th of December 2013, and also under the direction of Hasan. On March 26, 2014, Bangladesh set an impressive record with the most people singing the the national anthem in Dhaka with the help of Hasan Sarwardy. The world record was pushed back to Guinness Book. Sarwardy was named Bishisto Seba Padak (BSP) for these world records. Lieutenant General Sarwardy was in charge of the team that wrote Bangladesh Defence Policy. For his exceptional contribution, Sarwardy was awarded the Oshamanno Seba Padak (OSP) by the nation. Sarwardy was the most important and founder of the an extremely modern Cimputerized War Game Centre for Bangladesh Army.
