Charles “Charlie” Houchin (born on November 3 1987) is an American former competitive swimmer who achieved his most notable international successes in freestyle relays. He won an Olympic gold medal when he was part of the winning United States team in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay in the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is the founder and CEO of Swimmingly(r). Swimmingly(r) is a swimming app that Swimmingly(r) app allows you to run an all swim meets from iPhones or Android devices.

In the 2011, World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai, China, Houchin competed in one event, the freestyle 400 meters. Houchin clocked an average time of 3:48.80 in the heats but was unable to make it to the finals, placing 14th overall.

Houchin used the money he earned from his gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics to found Swimmingly®. Swimming the third leg, Houchin recorded a split of 1:45.59, and the team finished with a final time of 7:01.72.

In 2011, the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, Houchin won two gold medals for the freestyle 400 meters and the freestyle relay 4×200 meters.

Houchin was a graduate of William G.
