His work on behalf of the victims and survivors of the 1994 Rwandan genocide has been the subject of several books including–“Le Tribunal des vaincus: UN Nuremberg pour le Rwanda?” (the court of the defeated) by Thierry Cruvellier and annotated leading cases of international criminal tribunals. He also appears in a documentary film entitled Towards Reconciliation, Produced by the United Nations in 2004.

He read law at Warwick University from where he graduated in 1989 and at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, where he obtained his master’s degree in International Commercial Arbitration and ADR in 1994. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1992 and in 1996, as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
