Chad Kilgore (born August 8 1989) is an ex- American football player. He played in the NCAA football tournament in the state of Missouri at Northwest Missouri State University and was a student at Excelsior Springs High School in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He was a part of the Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Kansas City Chiefs.

Kilgore was let go from the Chiefs on the 14th of August 2013. After the release of Kilgore, Kilgore was described as an outside chance to make the team. Kilgore was released to free space on the roster to make room for the Cornerback Kennard Cox.

Kilgore signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on March 6, 2014. He suffered a broken thumb in a June 2014 preseason game and the team placed him on the six-game injured list. He was released by the Roughriders on August 7, 2015.

Kilgore is signed with The Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL) on July 29, 2012, after not being selected at the time of 2012’s NFL Draft. Kilgore was let go from the Raiders on August 31, 2012.

Kilgore played football in high school with his team, the Excelsior Springs High School Tigers. He was a first-team All-State linebacker, first-team all district and all-conference linebacker as well as a running back. He was also the team captain with the Tigers. He won all-state, all-district and all- conference awards as a linebacker during the year 2006.

Kilgore said they “were extremely cool about it” and indicated that the Roughriders would like to have him rejoin the team if he did not succeed in the NFL.
