Terrazas announced his resignation on 1 August 2013 after Castilla-La Mancha’s administrative relegation. He replaced Gonzalo Arconada by joining fellow league team CD Mirandes, 17 December.
In 2017–18, Terrazas led SD Ponferradina for the whole season, also serving as the club’s sporting director. Though the aim was the play-offs, the team fought relegation and only avoided relegation in the penultimate game, finishing 12th; he did not renew his contract.
Terrazas, who was citing personal problems, resigned as Andalusians’ bench member on 27 August 2009. He was replaced by Kike Linero at CD Guadalajara on 29 September 2009. He was promoted to the second level on his first attempt and narrowly avoided being relegated in the next season. In the end, he was appointed general manager.

Terrazas was born in Bilbao in Biscay. He began his managerial career with local CD Santurtzi and then worked for neighboring Bilbao Athletic, Segunda Division A. He spent time with Gimnastica de Torrelavega and Burgos CF before he was promoted to the position of Segunda Division Club SD Eibar in June 2005.
Terrazas remained in charge for the following campaigns, achieving an eighth place in 2014–15, the club’s best-ever position. On 1 December 2016, he was sacked.
