Brown was a college basketball player at Utah Utes and Colorado Buffaloes. In 2009 and 2010, he was named All-Mountain West Conference Honorable Mantion twice while at Utah.
Brown signed on September 26, 2012 with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors. He was released on October 24, however. Brown was an affiliate player in the NBA D-League’s Santa Cruz Warriors on November 8, 2012. He was traded to Idaho Stampede on January 2, 2013.
On July 17, 2014, he signed with Brose Baskets of Germany for the 2014–15 season. He played only four games with Bamberg, before he got injured and missed the rest of the season.
