He was the Defensive Player Of The Week for week 8 in 2003. He was 6th in CFL with 87 total tackles (football moves) and he returned 2 interceptions for touchdowns.
In 2005, he missed the first 2 games due to injury but still led the Lions in special teams tackles (23) and had 2 sacks.

Kidd was a high school football player at Pine Bluff Dollarway High School. He then went on to play at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Kidd played safety and cornerback at the University of Arkansas in 1993 and 1994, where he was also a letterman. Kidd was a senior and led the team’s punt returns. He also won the Steve Little Award, which recognizes the best Razorback special-teams player. After his senior season, Kidd was invited to the Blue-Gray Classic all-star match in Montgomery, Alabama.
After not being selected in the 1995 NFL Draft, Kidd was signed by the Oakland Raiders as a free agent. In 1995 and 1996, he played 29 games in total for the Oakland Raiders. Kidd was a Raiders player in 16 games in 1996. He made the interception and returned 29 kickoffs for 622 yard. Kidd spent three years in different NFL camps before he was signed by the BC Lions as a free agent in 2000.
In 2004, he recorded his 5th career touchdown, which was a 35-yard interception return versus the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Kidd was also the Lions leader with 54 defensive tackles.
