Calvin Leonard Mac-Intosch, a professional Dutch footballer, was born 9 August 1989. He plays as a center back for the Eerste Divisie side SC Cambuur.
Jan van Halst, an FOX Sports analyst, described him as a “dark Jaap stam” in December 2014. Mac-Intosch replied, “I wouldn’t say that.” Calvin Mac-Intosch replied, “I’m just Calvin MacIntosch”, and said that he was a tough centreback but not too rough.
In July 2016, Mac-Intosch signed a two-year contract with English League One club Port Vale. He started two of the club’s opening three games of the 2016–17 season, but then went seven weeks without a game, and after being booked whilst the “Valiants” conceded two early goals he was substituted just 28 minutes into a 2–2 draw with Oxford United at Vale Park on 22 October. He started just three league games despite being named in the matchday squad 22 times as the form of Nathan Smith and Remie Streete left him with limited first team opportunities, and he left the club by mutual consent in January 2017 shortly after Michael Brown succeeded Bruno Ribeiro as manager.
Mac-Intosch returned to the Eerste Divisie following his spell in England and signed a one-and-half year contract with Jack de Gier’s Almere City in January
- He scored three goals in 13 games to help the “Sheepheads” qualify for the play-offs at the end of the 2016–17 season. However they exited the play- offs at the first round following a 6–2 aggregate defeat to Helmond Sport. City’s aim for the 2017–18 season was to again reach the play-offs. They succeeded in their aim but manager still stated he was not satisfied with the defence and de Gier did not extend his contract at the club.
He was a former Ajax youth team player and became a professional footballer at HFC Haarlem. After Haarlem’s bankruptcy, he switched to SC Telstar. After four seasons at Telstar, he made 91 league appearances and cup appearances before moving up to the Eredivisie in May 2014 to play for SC Cambuur. In July 2016, he signed for English club Port Vale. In January 2017, he returned to the Netherlands to sign for Almere City. In 2018, he joined Norwegian side Notodden, before returning to the Netherlands in February 2019 to sign for Fortuna Sittard. In May 2019, he rejoined Cambuur, his former club.
