McDuff was announced by British Touring Car team WIX Racing in February 2015 as part of a sponsorship program. McDuff’s professional development was also supported by Millers Oils, a UK-based oil company. McDuff was at the time the youngest deaf racing driver on a professional career path.
In October 2019, McDuff won the Super 1 National Kart Championships, making him first ever Deaf person to do so.
In May 2019, McDuff became the first profoundly Deaf racing driver to step on the Super 1 National Championship podium, after finishing 2nd at Rowrah, Cumbria. At the time, McDuff was driving for the same works Zipkart Team that four time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton drove for during his karting career.
McDuff joined 2014 the Bambino Kart Tour. This race series was created by Darren Beavers for children six to eight years old to encourage them to go- kart racing. The tour is held at seven tracks in the United Kingdom over the course of the year. McDuff raced in Bambino class on a zip chassis powered by a 50cc 2-stroke engine. McDuff switched to a Honda-powered Zip chassis for this year’s Super One British Championship.
