Bryan Edward Steven Roy (born 12 February 1970) is a Dutch football manager as well as a former professional footballer who was an player on the wing. He has managed a variety of Ajax youth teams, at one time Ajax E1 and later Ajax B.
He was head coach for his team AFC Ajax E-Youth before becoming the head coach at Jong Ajax in the summer of 2010.
The Forest’s 1996-97 campaign ended with the club being relegated out of the Premiership, Roy moved to Germany as part of an PS1.5million transfer for Hertha BSC. In 2000 the year 2000, he returned to his home and signed to NAC Breda which he played for until he put on the boots of 2002. Roy returned to the game for a brief period in 2004, when the short time he played was with Workington AFC scoring twice in 9 games.

born in Amsterdam, Roy started his professional career at Ajax in 1987. He won his first UEFA Cup in 1992. On November 22, 1992 Roy transferred to Italian team Foggia and was replaced as a left-winger by Marc overmars. In his time at Foggia the Netherlands, Roy played during the 1994 World Cup, scoring once during the time the Netherlands made it to the quarterfinals. Following this World Cup, he moved to England following the fact that Nottingham Forest paid their record cost that was PS2.5million in exchange for his service.
Roy earned 32 international cap in the Netherlands national team of football with nine goals scored. He took part in both the 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cups and the 1992 UEFA European Football Championships.
Roy’s first season at the City Ground was a success, as he provided a strong partner for Stan Collymore. He helped the newly promoted side finish an impressive third in the Premiership and qualify for the UEFA Cup – the first time Forest had achieved European qualification in the post-Heysel era. Collymore was sold to Liverpool in the summer of 1995, although Forest did reach the UEFA Cup quarter-finals. His first-team opportunities were limited by injury and disappointing form in 1996–97, and Roy decided that he had seen enough of England.
