On the 14th of January of 2011 Meredith was chosen as the 2nd round (29th overall) of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft by Seattle Sounders FC. After a long and intense trial with Seattle the club, he was let go by the club following being defeated to the third goalkeeper post with Josh Ford. Meredith was signed by USL Premier Development League club Kitsap Pumas where he made 14 league appearances after which he was signed with Sounders Sounders the 12th of September, 2011, following an injury that ended the season for goalkeeper backup Terry Boss. Meredith made his debut in the competitive arena on October 18, 2011, in the 1-1 Sounders defeat against Monterrey at the CONCACAF Champions League and his MLS debut was as an auxiliary substitute in the second half for Michael Gspurning who was injured in a 2-0 win against in the LA Galaxy. Meredith made his debut MLS debut just three days later , with an 1-0 clean sheet in the match in a 1-0 win over Philadelphia Union. Philadelphia Union. The Sounders did not sign an option on their contract for Meredith on the 14th of December 2012.

He was signed to play for the New York Cosmos in their first season in the North American Soccer League but failed to make an appearance. He was then signed by San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer on January 24, 2014.

Meredith was selected by Seattle Sounders FC in the 2016 Re-Entry Draft Stage 1, following his option been declined by San Jose.

In his time at university, Meredith spent the 2010 season with the Central Jersey Spartans of the USL Premier Development League.
