There he grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with his two older brothers – Robert and David. In 1969, he moved to California with his now-divorced mother. After high school, Bialosky put himself through college—first graduating from Los Angeles Valley College and then attending San Diego State University where he graduated in 1976 summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. During his senior year at SDSU, Bialosky served as President of the School of Business.

Bialosky began his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell and Co. in the year 1976.
