Romalotti is currently working on her new novel, which has due for release in the fall of 2010. The novel is called Bride of the Reaper, like Pariah (dark action) and set in the same locale (Lawrence, Kansas) and the same timeframe (mid-1980s) in the same way as Salad Days. The characters of Salad Days are to be part of the film’s cameos as part of Bride of the Reaper. The plot revolves around a wacky girl known as Kitty Waugh who lands a job as a host of horror in the middle of a Midwest town.
Talon The sequel to Rash was released on June 1st in 2002. The third novel, The Stickler finalized the trilogy. The entire collection was released as one book called Pariah on June 1st 2003. The Sticker did not have its own independently released.

Her debut novel for Romalotti’s, Salad Days, was published on June 1st in 2000. The novel tells about Frank Smith, a determined idealist who was the singer of a hardcore punk rock band from the mid-1980s. The book is famous for its accurate depiction of punk’s subculture and also incorporates real groups (Black Flag, Bad Brains, Descendents) as well as places (Outhouse CBGB’s, the Outhouse in addition to City Gardens) from the mid-1980s punk era in the fictional plot. Salad Days has maintained a huge cult-like following across the world since its publication.
In June 2001 Romalotti’s newest novel, Rash was released. A lot darker than the first novel, Rash was a suspenseful story of a group children (“Crusties”) who lived in street corners in Austin, Texas in the late 1990s. The year 2002 was the time Rash received a nomination in the category of Best Horror in the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY Awards). The first printing run of 1,000 copies sold out in of 18 months following the publication. There was no follow-up print run (aside from the publication in Pariah) and copies are scarce.
