Brett Stewart made his NRL debut for Manly on July 6, 2003 at the 17th round of the 2003 NRL season. He replaced in place of injured forward Brendon Reeves. In his one first grade match of the year Manly fell 24-16 against The Parramatta Eels at Brookvale Oval.
