Belke established Live Sex Shows with his twin brother Marc who was who is also a guitarist, as well as musician Ken Chinn in 1981 after they had met through skateboarding culture located in Edmonton, Alberta. The group was not long-lived however, the trio formed the Society’s Non Fucking Use (better known as the abbreviation SNFU) in the year following.
