Brenden Hall, OAM (born on 27th May, 1993) is an Australian Paralympic amputee swimmer who took home two gold medals during the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. He took part in Australia in Rio Paralympics in 2016 Rio Paralympics in Rio, where he took home one gold one silver and one bronze medal.

Prior to his surgery, he was a member of a small development team and then returned to swimming once his amputation healed. He made his swimming debut internationally during the 2007 Arafura Games. The youngest man member of the Australian swimming team during the 2008 Beijing Games. He was a participant in the Men’s 400m Freestyle S9 and finished fifth in the championship. In the final, he beat records in the Paralympic record during his heat. at the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven the athlete was awarded gold medals in men’s freestyle 400m S9, Men’s 5km Open Water S1-S10, Men’s 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay , 34 points (Heat) Men’s 4 100 Medley Relay m 34 points (Heat). In 2011, during the Queensland Swimming Championships he broke world records in the 800m and 1500 Freestyle events of a distance of a mile.

Hall was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2014 Australia Day Honours “for service to sport as a Gold Medallist at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.” In 2015, he won the Queensland Athlete with a Disability Award, the third time he had won this award.
