Brandon Prideaux is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 18, 1976 in Seattle, Washington, United States. Brandon Prideaux (born August 18 1976, in Seattle, Washington) is an ex- American pro soccer player. He is who is currently assistant coaching the team of men’s soccer of the University of Washington.

Prideaux played in 53 of the 55 games that he played for D.C. in 2002 and

2003. He had his starting spot challenged in 2004 due to the arrival the presence of Josh Gros, and a shift in tactics that caused the team to adopt the formation of a 3-5-2 more often. He did however, start 16 games and proved an effective in the role of a player at the team. He returned his normal role, and played in 28 of 29 games but was mostly the backup player during the 2006 season, participating in just 9 games due to an injury to the knee. In D.C., Prideaux coached the NCSL division 1 Arlington Warriors, and led the team to immense results in the Metro region league. Prideaux has not yet scored after eight years in MLS and is currently the record for the most games that have not been scored, having succeeded Nick Garcia after the latter had scored his first goal in June of 2006.

Prideaux was waived by the Colorado Rapids on March 4, 2008, and was picked up by the Chicago Fire in the MLS Waiver Draft.

On June 9, 2009, he announced his retirement from MLS, effective at the end of the season. He became an assistant coach at the University of Washington on January 1, 2010.

Prideaux’s success on his performance in the A-League attracted the interest of MLS and he was signed as a player for the Kansas City Wizards for the 1999 season. He played fifteen games and started with eight, and registering one assist. After his second season as a member of the Wizards, Prideaux seized a leading role in the team, playing in every game that he participated in. He also was instrumental in leading the Wizards to winning the MLS Cup, playing a part in one of the greatest defenses in league time. Prideaux played for the Wizards for another season before being transferred with D.C. United for Stephen Armstrong prior to the 2002 season.

Prideaux played in the college soccer league for The University of Washington from 1994 until 1997. Following having completed his MLS experience, he went back to his old school which is where he currently serves as an assistant coach. The style of coaching he uses is known by his use of examples from himself and his experiences in the MLS.
